CrossFit Kids – Gut Check South is an intensive fitness and wellness program. Regardless of fitness level, athletic ability, the program offers children a structured and consistently varied fitness training regiment. In order to improve overall fitness CrossFit Kids – GCS focuses on maximizing stamina, cardiovascular endurance, strength, power, flexibility, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy using dynamic movements. CrossFit Kids – GCS is the principal strength and conditioning program for many parents that want their kids to grow up healthy, strong and have a life long love of working out thus avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity. The program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. The specialty of the program is not specializing but generalizing. Healthy living requires that our children push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift; jump, effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play athletics. Athletics is specialized pursuit. CrossFit Kids – Gut Check South goal is to support the specialist, but reward the generalist.
